There is a new University in the Pac10! Today the Utah Utes accepted an offer to join the Pac10. Now we have 12 teams and we will be able to have a championship game. Now that we have 12 teams, I believe they will split the conference into 2 divisions. How they will split it is unknown at this time. I hope they make a Pac12 North and a Pac12 South. With the Pac12 North being comprised of Oregon, Oregon St., Washington, Washington St., Cal, and Stanford. The Pac12 South would be ASU, UA, USC, UCLA, Colorado, and Utah. I would like this split. I think Utah is a good program. They have a very good football team. I'm excited to have them and Colorado join the Pac.

Utah and Colorado are both north of Stanford and Cal Berkley

North: WSU,WU,OSU,OU,UT,CO
South: UCLA,STAN,CAL,USC,ASU,UA

OR

West: WSU,WU,OSU,OU,STAN,CAL
East: ASU,UA,UT,CO,USC,UCLA

I like the West/East matchups better.

5 division games + 3 non-division games + 3 non-conf = 11 game schedule + conf championship. That gives Utah an opportunity to play BYU every year and maintain that rivalry.

I think the format would be 5 division games, 4 non-division games (because you would play for example, OU, OSU, WSU, UW), and 3 non-conference, plus the pac12 championship game.

If you make the championship game the 12th, that means not everyone plays 12 games like they do right now. Also, the reason they made it the pac12 was to get the championship game because that means one more game to make money on. Money, it rules everything in sports....
